It's funny...I would imagine with these counterfeit foods, we might not know the taste of the real food. Take olive oil for example: do we have a sophisticated enough palate to tell the difference? And if we don't, then does it matter that much?
Interesting interview with Bill Murray by Charlie Rose. While it's not like Murray lets his guard down, it does seem he is more forthcoming about his life.
I'm sure some of these places routinely show up on lists like this and are therefore not too surprising, but it's always nice to have a reminder about areas around the good that inspire wonder and delight.
Sometimes, one simple idea can turn an already decent product into something that much better.
