Well after a bunch of internal debate (and wouldn't that be an awesome conversation to hear), I have decided to post the novel I wrote for the recent NaNoWriMo.
The twist is, I'm not 100% comfortable posting it on a public blog such as this one, so I have gone and created a private blog and will be posting it in parts. It would have been a lot easier had I written it into easy to digest parts (known in the publishing world as "chapters"), but whatever.
If you're so inclined, you can post a comment with your email, or email me by using the email button down there over to the right or something. I'm simply doing this, because in my current delusional state, I don't need people taking it or whatever. Plus, I'd at least like to know specifically who is reading it. Not that I need to know you personally, but if you don't know my, please at least give me a reason for wanting to torture yourself.
Some quick caveats -
It's basically a draft. Please remember that reading it. There are plenty of things wrong with it, including the use of passive voice in spots, the non sequitor sections, the sections that make no sense, and the hacky, corny happy ending that makes more sense as the ending for a Comedy Central movie of the week.
Pretty sure that's it. Have at it.

sent to your comcast. Let me know if you don't get it - I'm still a little unsure how these private settings work.
See previous comment in other post about my desire to read your book.
added - let me know if there are issues.
I skimmed Part I. It kind of drags.
you have my home email i think. i'd love to read it.
@drew
I sent it to your yahoo address. Let me know if that one is right.
my google address is on your daily links list. can you send it to that? yay!
@kchop
Done.
Thanks. Got it. Read the first three sections.
Take this in the spirit it is intended as I am no critic, just making observations. So far what it seems to me is a very descriptive treatise on Memorial day at a local pool that also happens to be the first day guarding for a newbie lifeguard. While I can surely appreciate the intricacies of a 80 minute "push" and nod my head in agreement to about 90% of your observations, I can see how a mass audience would not appreciate it as much. Still, i know i've only read a portion of it and look forward to the rest.
check the gmail e-mail..
I love the HH files...

For whatever reason I didn't get your email. Send it directly to goose42 AT comcast NET
@ drew
I appreciate the critique - just know that you have only read roughly 10,000 words...I'm not saying that the plot isn't thin at best, but I treated the beginning as a chance to develop character and place clues for where it's headed. I just put up the next post which turns it in, some direction at least.
Besides, you haven't even gotten to the Dragon's Lair pontification. Then you'll really wonder what this thing is about.
And you think I'm kidding.
