Singapore BASE Jumping

In addition to the incredible backdrop (downtown Singapore), this video is crazy for the amount of camera coverage they have to make this video. I count at least 6 different angles! For BASE jumping. It almost defeats the raw, DIY approach of the sport, no?

Dangerous Mountain Biking Part: A Million

A few weeks ago, I posted this crazy mountain biking video. At the time, I didn't think it was possible to make such a trek crazier. I was wrong...because I didn't think anyone would ever try something like that in snow...

Dogs in Cars

I'm a dog person. I know that means I'm forever in war against cat people, and by extension, the entire Internet (since we all know cat pictures rule the internet). But whatever side you're on, I think you'll enjoy this video of dogs sticking their heads out of car windows in slow motion. And if you don't, I'm sure you can find a picture of a cat doing something crazy somewhere.

Everything is Better in Slow Motion Part: A million

By now, I don't need to sell you on the awesomeness of slow motion...

Mesmerizing. Hypnotizing. And making me thirsty-izing.

More time lapse/tilt shift awesomeness!

I think it would really be nice if all of you took up a collection and sent me to this town. I promise to increase the number of blog entries!

Beer Week Video

I'm not sure what it has to do with beer, or if it even makes sense (wouldn't you want beer to be represented by something a little better than a guy paying homage to Flashdance?) but the guys in the stuffed animal costumes are sure to make the furries excited...

Slow Motion Awesomeness!

I like to think the only difference between me and Tom Guilmette is he has a really awesome camera.

Ok, he also has a lot more talent. But I definitely think we would be shooting some of the same stuff.

Check out this cool slow motion video with ordinary hotel room objects.

Destruction By Water

Crazy video showing the flooding of the Sandy River in Oregon earlier this year. Mesmerizing, hypnotizing and haunting, this video should make you feel how insignificant we really are when it comes to nature.

Catapult Fridge...Not What You Think

When I first read "catapult fridge," I got giddy, and envisioned a group of college kids building and then executing an awesome weapon of destruction launching a fridge 400 yards through the air.

This is not that.

It's still impressive. Kinda. I do enjoy the end slide, suggesting people might want to contact him "for more information." More information about what?

Favorite Video of 2011 So Far

While you may not appreciate nature (and that's your prerogative), I do and I love this video (some might call it a "moving love letter") about the redwoods out in Northern California. Show beautifully, it gives these nature's wonders their appropriate reverence.

I might also turn this into a recurring bit - awesome videos I see throughout the year. If you think you have something that can beat it, send it along and I'll give you credit.

Must See for Allman Brothers Fans

Awesome animation of The Allman Brothers Band through the years and how each lineup sounded. Kudos to Brett Underhill for piecing this tribute together...!

FIRE...ICE...SLOW MOTION!

I'm certainly not posting this because of the song, rather the idea and execution of what happens when you shoot a flamethrower at a fire extinguisher. That, and the fact it's shot in slow motion.

The insanity of air racing

Brought up in a recent post, the sport of air racing looks dangerous, awesome, and insane. And because I'm committed to the visitors of my site, I've included some video or this ridiculous sport, courtesy of vimeo.com, a site I'm sure you'll be able to see - even at work.
