Super excited to see the new Iron Man movie? Excited enough to think about building your own Iron Man suit? Hope you've go some cash lying around.
Throughout the years, there have been some weird video games made.
Sure, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I think when it comes to music, original artists might think royalties are slightly better.
Summer is always a huge movie season. Here are 33 titles to look out for in 2013.
Perhaps we won't go out with a bang, or a whimper, but rather a rip.
I know someone who is addicted to Sky Mall, which...yes, well. If nothing else, she would most likely score 100% on this test. Which is something.
Insane Werner Herzog quotes. #4 is now my email signature.
I'm not sure why anyone would suggest this is the worst movie trailer. I want to work with these guys.

Cool Shit 1/21
I realize I'm in the minority, but I think the concept of a "snow tsunami" is cool.
Struggling filmmaker does what any struggling filmmaker would do - goes and shoots a guerilla film at Disneyland.
The irony of bidding so much money on a piece of money that was worth so little at the time is not lost on me.
Want to know a lot about Budweiser? Including the author's love for Bud Light Lime? At least I think he's saying he likes Bud Light Lime. In this era of ironic writings, one can never be too sure.
There used to be places in malls where people would go and play video games. And it was awesome.
Actors talking about their awful (and sometimes most iconic) film roles.

A History of Video Game Football
It must be video game day here at The Popcorn Trick...take a walk down nostalgia lane with the slide show of football video games of the past 30 years...And scoff at George Plimpton making the poor choice backing Intellivision:

A real life Fantasy Island?
Everyone likes the winners on Dancing With the Stars, but who were the worst contestants?
At least one level of our educational system is having fun with their mascots (take a hint, Lehigh!)
Worst CGI? I’d suggest it’s the best CGI. I know I will now never fall asleep while driving, lest my van spins out of control and rolls over 900 times at an inhumane speed.
Two glaring things wrong with this list. Sega ’94 hockey was not better than ’93, because they took the fighting out, which means the Devils’ Troy Crowder has no reason to be in the game. And there’s no love for Sega NBA Showdown ’94 – the greatest NBA video game of all time.
Boy, geek movies sure leave a lot of unanswered questions.
20 greatest Monty Python sketches.
Interview with the Mythbuster guys.
The case of the Top Gear crew and the Alabama Rednecks (via mentalfloss).
Blowing up landmarks for the sake of entertainment.

The worst drive thru foods in America.
Just how small can manufacturers make S.L.R. cameras?
A story of love, lust and redemption. Maybe not in that order.
Download the pitch David Simon used to get HBO to buy into The Wire. Check out kottke for even more Wire goodness.
Interview with the guy who coached David Frost for his Nixon interviews. You know – Frost/Nixon?
I hate Atlas Shrugged. It has nothing to do with Rand’s philosophy and everything to do with how poor of a writer she was.
The art of video game criticism. Or lack thereof. The article mentions Pauline Kael, and if you don’t know who that is, check out this movie review to an idea.
I have no skill when it comes to playing or reading music, but I can certainly appreciate the complexity these scores imply.
The Hipster Grifter. I’m definitely going to link to something with that title.
It makes sense that super bacteria is breeding in sewage plants.

There’s a lot more to this story of a floating house. But that’s certainly a start.
Ok, so Return of the Jedi wasn’t great, but I’m not willing to say it sucks. Especially with the newer trilogy out there.
You mean our brain is working even when we’re not thinking about it? Who knew?
Weird video games.
Good to see Philly on the list. Actually no it’s not. It’s awful that Philly is on the list. Where am I going to get my Marmaduke fix?
Apparently it’s a big deal that Barbie is 50.
Well I’ve heard of stranger ways to save the world from global warming. I think.
Old tobacco advertisements. No wonder everyone smoked.
