THE GOOD:
Even if this is fake, it's great. I can't tell. It seems like the lines are coming right on top of one another - as though neither guy is thinking about responses/questions, but to fake something like this...well, it's genius one way or the other.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
What a lineup of guests...what a terrible execution of a talk show. I'd attribute it to the times, but Dick Cavett ruins that theory.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Speaking of Cavett, here's Jefferson Airplane performing Volunteers (top 3 Airplane song IMO) on his stage. Cavett's a god. In the time of Nixon and the paranoid 70s, for someone to bring something like this to the limelight (and this is but one sample of the guests he would bring out) he doesn't get nearly enough credit.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #4
THE GOOD:
Unfortunately, this one can't be embedded, so you're going to have to click here.
I'm a huge Cavett fan, so don't be surprised to routinely see clips of him show up here. This one is genius. Listen to how deftly Cavett attempts to diffuse the situation, and to see how Hepburn will have none of it. I also love how she wants a table so she can put her feet up. It's a classy look
THE BAD:
Maybe if he got hit he would have learned his lesson. Doubtful.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Who didn't play with Legos as a kid?
