That's right! Shoes! In Germany. In the 70s. I was born at the wrong time.

You Are About to Save So Much Time
Wait, you take your shirt off arms first? Head first? Why do you spend so much time doing it the stupid way?

Top Human Villains
Over a year old, but still cool - here's a montage of the "top" villains from movie history. The song of course makes the whole thing.
There are certainly some omissions...Lo Pan from Big Trouble in Little China, Dr. Emilio Lizardo from Buckaroo Bonzai, and Auric Goldfinger from Goldfinger, just to name a few. I also think there were a few in there that really didn't belong, but whatever, it's still put together well.
Any other glaring omissions you see?

What?
I think I have my new email sig!
There is a story between these two newspeople. Possibly involving a the countryside, a little too much Boone's Farm wine, and a barnful of shame (unless that's your thing. Who am I to judge?)
I really hope the full story comes out in the next few days.

The Good...The Bad...The Beautiful #44
THE GOOD:
Nazis? Dinosaurs? Stop motion animation? Sign me up! The ending could have used some tweaking, but that's no reason not to watch this.
Bad and beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
This guy is trying something no human should be trying. Especially out on the sidewalk in front of his house.

Saturday Night Video Party!
Beer and friends can generate some strange things. Don't believe me? Don't worry I have proof.
As you may (or more likely may not) know, my friends and I have our own production company. And use the term production company loosely as no one has hired us (yet!). But still, we have produced some videos, and we've done it in the company of one another, so yeah, until it's against the law, we'll call ourselves a production company.
Anyway The Nectar of the Gods (what? too subtle) got together Saturday night in the hopes of creating some videos (we want to add "comedy troupe" to our long list of self-titles) for public consumption (Public consumption meaning our wives/significant others we trick into watching because we hid the link in a Tiffany's ad).
Like most disillusioned men entering (or feet firmly in) our 30s, it's because we crave attention and are desperate to be liked. Well, maybe that's just me. But you get the point: we're not doing this for money, we're doing this because we enjoy it and entertain ourselves.
Normally, our meetings wind up being drunkfests with half-baked ideas that we giggle out for a few minutes before one or all of us get fed up and leave without a second of video shot.
But not Saturday night.
Sure, that's how it started out, with 4 of us sitting around watching The Royal Tennenbaums. But then something silly and unique for us happened. We got the camera out, and in a moment of inspiration, created 3 videos we're fond of.
We like them. We hope you do too. If you don't, well we hate you. But please still pass them along to your friends. Because we're sure they're cooler than you. Also, please watch all three. Even if you hate them, it's less than 3 minutes of your life. Save it for when you're at work and it won't even feel like a waste. It will feel like you're sticking it to your boss!
On to the videos...
Sniper 101
Please notice the two playing pool in the corner. That's semi-intentional. We thought it was a nice touch. I think this is like take 9. All effects created by us.
Sniper 102
Try to catch the intentional gaffe in this one. Hint: it's in one of the cabinets. First person to call it out in the comments gets self-satisfaction.
Sniper 3
Probably the best one, only because the first two really set it up. Of course you know what's coming, but it's still funny. And yes, that idiot actually poured beer into the cup to have it spilled. The kicker? It's his house. All for comedy Cline. Bravo.
Keep an eye on this spot for more of these Dogme 95 style films from us. We got the process down and got excited about some of our ideas enough that we might even try one or two more. Hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed filming.

The Good...The Bad...The Beautiful #42
THE GOOD:
These guys are good at ping pong. How do I know? They came to the match in the same clothes. Oh yeah and they make incredible shots look easy.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side!
THE BAD:
This guy on the other hand s a bad magician. How do I know? Because he can't even do his own sucky magic trick.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Why this didn't bridge the gap between the races is something I'll never understand.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #40
THE GOOD:
What happens when you mix 2 Fast 2 Furious: Tokyo Drift, a guy dressed like Castro with an eye patch and dinosaurs? You get Overdrift.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
How would you like to live in this neighborhood?
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Comedian deals with heckler. Probably not the most original, but delivery is pretty spot on.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #37
THE GOOD:
Who knew Josh Groban was this cool? A medley of television show theme songs - much better than it sounds.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
What is mountain bike bog snorkeling? Exactly what you think it is.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Cobain sticking it to the man.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #36
THE GOOD:
Think about this for a second. Elliot did this while he was starring in Get A Life, which was in the early 90s. That means no one saw the original awesome Shatner version he was parodying. You can tell by the silence of the audience. Absolute genius.
Bad and beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
Great concept - absolutely awful execution. Seriously, why not choose songs that at least have some opportunity to show off some singing.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
From some Russian movie (possibly titled A Woodpecker Never Has a Headache - from the comments). I think it's just cool to see the kid from Willie Wonka get some more work, even if it is behind the Iron Curtain. Actually he has nothing to do in this other than be mesmerized by some Communist funk music.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #33
THE GOOD:
I'm not a musical fan by any means...communicating in song grates on my nerves, but if you want to see a performance blow everyone out of the water, check out this. And Jennifer Hudson, you might have won the Oscar, but you still have some work to do.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
It's Walken. Singing Tom Jones. And yet, it just doesn't work. It certainly doesn't want me to see the movie. Actually, I wanted to put this video up, but I can't embed. Seriously though, you should check it out.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
What do you think...someone lost their keys on the beach? Beware of the language on this one, though you don't even need the volume up to appreciate it.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #32
THE GOOD:
I'm not sure if literal song translations are over or not, but I like this one because even though the audio values are atrocious, the writing is good. Plus, it's Astley.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
This guy's got quite a little thing going on here. Strongest man in the world, yet he won't lift a truck up because he fears it will burst due to the energy he's emitting. Uh huh. I do enjoy that Egyptian Robert DeNiro is buying it. Seriously check it out - there's a lot going on.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
That can't be a real beard, right?

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #31
THE GOOD:
Ok, I'm not sure I believe in ghosts, but this should at least put some doubt in a non believer's mind. Stay for when the apparition makes an appearance.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
Look, I love Snoop. Talented beyond reproach. But if this isn't the most perfect example of "selling out" then I don't know what is. And don't get me wrong, I don't think selling out is a bad thing. I just know that many people do.
I put it here because he's on Martha Stewart. The robot man rapport alone is cringe inducing.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
When in doubt, go with a Discovery channel commercial.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #30
THE GOOD:
Good to see the man who directed arguably the greatest movie ever made got work later in life. THe couple sitting at the table with him deserve Oscars themselves for being able to keep a straight face through the entire thing.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
Who doesn't love the Final Countdown? Possibly me after watching this buffoon butcher it.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Just when you think R. Kelly has run out of ideas, he hits you with something that defies words. No matter what I say, I can't do this justice. Oh, and a language warning. R.Kelly likes to keep it real, and in doing so, he has to use some pretty raw language. You've been warned.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #29
THE GOOD:
A side of John Lennon few people associate with him. Knowledgeable sports fan.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
HalfTime Basketball Creighton University Omaha Nebraska - Watch more Sports Videos
I didn't know where to put this. It could have been all three, right? At the end I chose bad, just because, I mean, some guy had to work out this whole routine, with a bunch of slinkies, and right now the best he can do is a half time at a Creighton basketball game?
The music isn't helping matters.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Where have you gone Dave Chappelle?

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #28
THE GOOD:
Sure, when you're talking with your friends, you'll say how stupid it is, but deep down, secretly, you wish you worked in an office this cool.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
I pray for our society, that in 5 years or so Maury writes a tell-all book admitting these shows were scripted. Unfortunately, I doubt it's going to happen.
I guess there will be at least a number 12.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Louis Armstrong and Johnny Cash performing together. Kinda cool to see two legends on the stage together. Those variety shows of yesteryear may have been corny, but they also brought some magic when they needed to.

The Good...the Bad...the Beautiful #27
THE GOOD:
Even if this is fake, it's great. I can't tell. It seems like the lines are coming right on top of one another - as though neither guy is thinking about responses/questions, but to fake something like this...well, it's genius one way or the other.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
What a lineup of guests...what a terrible execution of a talk show. I'd attribute it to the times, but Dick Cavett ruins that theory.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Speaking of Cavett, here's Jefferson Airplane performing Volunteers (top 3 Airplane song IMO) on his stage. Cavett's a god. In the time of Nixon and the paranoid 70s, for someone to bring something like this to the limelight (and this is but one sample of the guests he would bring out) he doesn't get nearly enough credit.

THE GOOD:
Real passion in politics on this day after the presidential election. If you've never seen The War Room, I can't recommend it enough.
Bad and beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
There are a lot of things going on here. All of which I have completely missed. I do think this is Bjork at her hottest.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
An you thought that weird robot dog walking in the woods was weird.

THE GOOD:
It's ok, the porn doesn't really come - but the comedy does.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
Really? This is what passes as funny on youtube? Maybe we should throw out the first amendment.
THE BEAUTIFUL:
Wait - hold up on throwing out the first amendment, because we may have missed something like this.

THE GOOD:
Legends on the stage together. Jerry Lee looks less than thrilled to be there. I guess it was a 21+ show or something.
Bad and Beautiful on the flip side...
THE BAD:
I dare you to watch all 2:51 of this. That said, looks like I have a new potential presidential candidate to back. For more on Mr. Gravel's platform, click here!
THE BEAUTIFUL:
I tear up a little every time I hear this. I'll let you decide what kind of tears they are.
