Deleted sketch from the Anna Kendrick episode of Saturday Night Live that recently aired. No idea how this one didn't make the air - Sure it could have tightened up a bit and the punchline reveal could have been saved for a little later in the sketch, but I think it works regardless. Thoughts?
Of course, when you look at some of the things actual Nickelodeon game shows had on their sets, that sketch wasn't all that far fetched.
The good news: popular book The Leftovers is becoming a series on HBO. The bad news: Damon Lindelof is involved.
The answer to the age old question: where does it hurt the most to be stung: nostril, nipple or penis?

Cool Shit 3/3

Brett Easton Ellis is a writer, most likely known for American Psycho, which is overhyped to begin with and really, when you come down to it, no more gruesome than a number of books out there. But his publishing company got the controversy out there, he got famous, and now he we are. Rules of Attraction is probably his best book, but if you feel like slogging through the rest of his library, enjoy.
So it seems like we're getting back into blimps for air flight. I blame steampunk.
Wes Anderson has an idea for a James Bond movie. Why not? Wouldn't it be fine to take a tried and true series, such as James Bond, and then allow different directors to apply their vision. It would be a fascinating (albeit economic failure) to see what different auteurs would do with one character.
Get inside the mind of True Detective's Rusty Cohle. If you dare!

Hannibal is back for season 2 - and boy did it start off with a bang (or slash, if you will). You should definitely be watching this show, dammit. Here's Bryan Fuller (creator) talking about what is in store for season 2.
Why visit Yosemite when you can watch a time-lapse of it here?

Cool Shit 5/17
Sure this guide of upcoming Fall television is set up in a best/worst format, but honestly, nothing truly sounds that good.
I post a lot of nature time lapse videos here, so it's quite possible I've posted this one before, but even if I have, it's worth checking out again. Yosemite is this cool.
Being a dominatrix ain't easy.
Which ship is faster - the Millenium Falcon or the Starship Enterprise? Being fictional ships, you have to get over the concept that at the end of the day, the creators of said ship could just say "mine's faster," and technically be right.
A look at the ups (and downs) and whats to comes from JJ Abrams.

Wintertime at Yosemite
Another entry into the 2011 Awesome Video Contest (hosted by me!). I can totally see this being the introduction to some sort of bizarre sequel to Nell, had Nell taking a really depressing turn. And no, I'm not really sure what that means. Enjoy!
